Personal Data Protection Law

Ducara helps you comply with the Costa Rican Constitution and Law 8968 of 2011, which protect the right to self-determination over personal data for individuals. Ducara ensures that your personal data processing is based on legitimate grounds, proportionate, and limited to the purposes for which it was collected. Ducara also assists you with the obligations and procedures established by Decree 37554-JP of 2012, such as notifying data subjects, registering databases, implementing security measures, and reporting breaches.
